Our synthetic yarn range covers synthetic filament yarn, polypropylene multifilament yarn, synthetic monofilament yarn, and acrylic and polyester yarn. They aren’t interchangeable. Multifilament is soft and bulky, so cartridge makers use it for winding. Monofilament is a single smooth strand and stays firm, which suits other filtration media. Acrylic and polyester come in when the job calls for them. Your choice mostly comes down to what you’re filtering.
