O.E. Polyester Yarn for Technical Textiles
mmp's O.E. Polyester Greige & Dyed Yarn is developed for technical textiles, industrial fabrics, filtration fabrics, and other applications that require polyester yarn. Available in greige and dyed variants, it gives manufacturers options for different fabric production and colour requirements.
With a count range of 1.0s Ne to 4.0s Ne, this open-end polyester yarn can be considered for a range of industrial textile constructions. The selection of greige or dyed yarn depends on the manufacturing process, the desired fabric appearance and the requirements of the finished product.

This O.E. Polyester Yarn is spun on open-end machines and comes in two forms. Greige polyester yarn is left plain, with no dye added after spinning. It suits manufacturers whose fabric still goes through dyeing or finishing later. Dyed polyester yarn is coloured before it ever reaches the loom. Your fabric picks up its shade during weaving, so you’re not counting only on a dye bath at the end.
So which one should you go for? That depends on your production line, the look you want, and what the end product has to do. Then there’s count. A heavier, thicker fabric usually needs a coarser yarn, and mmp has options anywhere from 1.0s Ne to 4.0s Ne.
- Open-end spun from polyester
- Available in greige and dyed variants
- Greige suits fabric that still has to be dyed or finished
- Dyed yarn gives colour straight from the yarn itself
- Counts from 1.0s Ne to 4.0s Ne for lighter or heavier fabric constructions
- Suited to technical textiles, industrial fabrics, and filtration fabrics
- Polyester base for fabrics where polyester is the material of choice
As an open-end polyester yarn, mmp’s O.E. Polyester Greige & Dyed Yarn can be used for:
- Technical textiles: fabrics where polyester is the material of choice for the job
- Industrial fabrics: different constructions and weights, with the count picked to match the fabric
- Filtration fabrics: a filtration fabric may not need the same yarn as an industrial one, so choose the type and count for the purpose
- Coloured fabric production: dyed yarn for products that need their colour from the yarn
- Downstream-dyed fabrics: greige yarn for fabrics that go through dyeing or finishing later
