O.E. Acrylic Yarn for Technical Textile Applications
mmp's O.E. Acrylic Greige & Dyed Yarn is designed for technical textile and industrial fabric applications where acrylic yarn is suitable for the intended product. Available in greige and dyed variants, it supports different production requirements, including further processing and coloured yarn construction.
The yarn is available in a count range of 1.0s Ne to 4.0s Ne. Acrylic fibres are generally valued for their lightweight characteristics, but the performance of the finished textile depends on the yarn specifications, fabric construction and intended operating conditions.

Acrylic fibres are generally known for being light, which is why they turn up in lightweight technical textiles. This O.E. Acrylic Yarn is spun on open-end machines and comes in two versions. Greige acrylic yarn is undyed, so you can handle the colour and finishing yourself as part of your own workflow. Dyed acrylic yarn arrives already coloured, for fabrics where the shade needs to be in the yarn before weaving starts.
How the finished fabric performs depends on a few things: the yarn specs, how the fabric is built, and the conditions it’ll face in use. Counts run from 1.0s Ne to 4.0s Ne, and your fabric construction will usually point you to the right one.
