The melt blown cartridge filter are also referred as PP spun cartridge filter. The fibers are spun to create a dense gradient, denser at the core and more open at the outer layers. Polypropylene is the primary material used in manufacturing Melt Blown Filter Cartridges or PP Spun Filters, capable of filtering very fine sediments from liquids.
High quality PP Melt Blown Filter Cartridges or Spun Filter Cartridges are designed with several important features in mind. They offer good dirt holding capacity and are made from premium grade materials that meet NSF standards, ensuring reliable performance. These cartridges are capable of sustaining low pressure drop and operating conditions and can withstand mildly corrosive liquids and chemicals. The graded density pore structure provides true filtration, while the fixed pore structure ensures consistent performance. Additionally, these filters are economical and efficient, offering great value for money.
SOE (Single Open End): Where one end is sealed with a polypropylene cap.
DOE (Double Open End): Where both ends are open and no end caps are used.
These filter cartridges are used across a wide range of applications, including water and wastewater filtration, Pre-Filtration for Reverse Osmosis, and Desalination Processes. They are also employed in pre-filtration for industrial water treatment systems, metal plating processes, and fluid filtration. Chemical filtration applications, textile printing inks, and specialty coatings also benefit from their use.
